Newcomer of the Year award.
Glen Dandridge, a 66 guard originally from Virginia, ended the regular season with impressive statistics. His last regular season was marked with a total of 421 points, while he averaged 15.04 per game and shot 47.4% from the floor and 37% from three-point range. With a notable free-throw percentage of 88.7 and 146 total rebounds, Dandridge leads Lambuth into a promising postseason.
Corey Webster, a 60 Lambuth freshman, started off his college basketball career with a remarkable first season. Shooting 47.2% from the field and making a strong impression with a free throw with a percentage of 76.8%, Webster showed himself to be a reliable teammate. Averaging 11.64 points a game, he pulled in 326 total points for the regular season. With a total of 61 rebounds, 51 assists, and 30 steals, Webster has made an exciting name for himself.
Lambuth University Head Coach Kevin Burton had an amazing fourth season. He coached the team to its first regular season championship since 1995. The Asbury College grad has made quite an impact on the Lambuth basketball program, leading it to several new school records since his appointment.
Matt Neaville, a 60 junior guard from Union University, who transferred this year from Parkland Community College, proved himself by racking up some outstanding statistics. He has scored 731 points this season, with a game average of 24.6. He had a field goal percentage of 40.6 and a three-point percentage of 36.6. His free throw percentage of 83.2 is most impressive. He is ranked No.1 in the NAIA with 4.78 three-point field goals per game, No.2 in points per game, and No.4 in free throw percentage.
Kendaris Pelton, a 66 senior forward, transferred to the RedHawks program from Southern Mississippi and Chipola Junior College. He has averaged 18.2 points and five rebounds per game. Pelton has shot 58% from the field, 43% from three-point range and 82.8% from the foul line. He helped lead the RedHawks to a top-10 ranking and second place in the TranSouth regular season race.
